Common questions
Do I need a prescription?
No. At Virtual Sleep Care, masks and replacement parts do not need a prescription. Your insurer may ask for one before it reimburses the cost.
Does it contain magnets?
Yes. Keep it at least 150 mm from implants such as pacemakers, and do not use it if you or your bed partner has an affected implant. See magnet safety.
What if it doesn’t fit?
You can exchange it once for a different size or style within 30 days of delivery. See the mask exchange conditions, or take the mask fit quiz.
Is it covered by insurance?
Many plans cover CPAP masks within replacement limits, often about every 6 months for a whole mask. Keep your receipt; it lists the brand, model and price. If your plan wants pre-approval, download a price estimate (PDF) from your cart.
Magnet safety: this mask has magnets. Health Canada advises that it should not be used if you, a bed partner, caregiver or household member has an implanted metallic medical device or object that may be affected by magnets. For other implanted metallic devices, keep the mask at least 15 cm (6 in) away (Health Canada advisory, 2022). Magnet-free masks are available; ask us if you need one.
The Philips DreamWear Full Face CPAP Mask is a under-the-nose full-face mask with a Medium-Wide cushion, Small and Medium frames, magnetic clips and top-of-head connection.

- Top-of-Head Tubing: The hose connection sits at the crown of the head with a 360-degree swivel, keeping the tube out of your way so you can sleep on your back, side, or stomach.
- Under-the-Nose Cushion: The soft silicone cushion rests below the nostrils rather than covering the bridge of the nose, eliminating red marks, pressure sores, and irritation in that sensitive area.
- Open Field of Vision: Because there is no bulky forehead piece or high nose bridge coverage, you can easily wear glasses to read or watch TV in bed.
- Modular Frame: The flexible hollow silicone frame delivers airflow evenly to the cushion and is interchangeable with nasal or pillows cushions if you want to change mask styles later.
- Magnetic Clips: Headgear attaches via magnetic clips for quick and easy removal. (Note: Safety warning—magnets should be kept at least 6 inches away from active metallic medical implants like pacemakers).
