Testing, Treatment and Real Support, All From Home
Angela Hoffman, RRT, CRE walks through every step: the online symptom check, a home sleep test of 7 nights in your own bed, physician-read results reviewed with a clinician by video, choosing the right therapy, and ongoing CPAP follow-up. (2 min 37 s)

Are you waking up tired even after a full night’s sleep? Or maybe your snoring’s keeping someone else up at night? Or maybe you just never feel fully rested, no matter what you do. The thing is, those can all be signs of sleep apnea. And finding out doesn’t have to mean a long waitlist, or even a night in a sleep lab.
I’m Angela Hoffman. I’m a registered respiratory therapist, a sleep consultant, and I lead the clinical team here at Virtual Sleep Care. We offer testing, treatment, and real support, all from home, anywhere in Canada.
So here’s how it works. If you’re not sure whether you have sleep apnea, or maybe it’s been years since you were diagnosed or last tested, you can start with our quick online symptom check. It only takes a few minutes, and if your answers point to possible sleep apnea, you can order a test right there. After that, we’ll mail you a small, simple device to use. You wear it for five to seven nights in your own bed, not a lab and not a hospital. You’ll get clear instructions on how to use it, and if you get stuck, you can actually reach a real person on our team.
Once you’re done your testing, a sleep physician will interpret your results. Then you’ll meet with a sleep clinician by video to go through your report together. There’s no rushing. You’ll have time to ask questions, and time to actually understand what’s going on, because we believe that education is the first step in getting real results. Once you’ve had a really in-depth conversation with your sleep consultant, and you’ve decided together that therapy makes sense for you, we’ll walk you through your options and find what fits your diagnosis, what you’re comfortable with, and what fits your lifestyle. Because the best therapy is the one you’ll actually use.
If you’ve already been diagnosed, maybe you’re brand new to CPAP, or maybe you’ve been at it for years with equipment you got elsewhere and you’re just looking for support, either way, we’ve got you. It’s as simple as uploading your prescription and our clinical team will meet with you, help you find the equipment that fits best, and then you can shop masks, machines, and supplies right in our online shop. And I’ll say this: we don’t just hand you a machine and disappear. We’re here for the long haul, we’re here to follow up, we’re here to troubleshoot, and we’re here to make adjustments to your therapy until it’s working right for you. Better sleep is figureoutable. So let’s figure this out together.

CPAP machines use pressurized air to help keep the airway open during sleep. Your needs can change over time as your weight, medications, alcohol or other substance use, age and activity levels change. Success depends on more than choosing a machine: mask fit, comfort, education, troubleshooting and follow-up all matter.
